TLC lands 3rd Place in the ACM-ICPC Philippines Southern Luzon

The Lewis College’s programming team placed 3rd in the ACM-ICPC Philippines Southern Luzon Invitational Programming Contest held at Ateneo de Naga University last October 7, 2018.

The participants were Jade A. Espinar (BSIT-4), Nikki Joy G. Baeza (BSIT-3) and Jorge E. Escanilla Jr. (BSIT-3). They competed against 11 teams from other Higher Educational Institutions across Bicol Region.  

The competition was hosted by the Department of Computer Science of Ateneo de Naga University and was endorsed by the Commission on Higher Education.

ACM-ICPC Philippines Southern Luzon is an algorithmic programming contest for college students in southern Luzon. Teams of three, representing their university, work to solve the most real-world problems, fostering collaboration and the ability to perform under pressure.
