TLC is Over-All 4th Runner-Up in the 19th ABBS Regional Congress

The College of Business Education won over-all 4th runner-up at the 19th Association of Bicol Business Students (ABBS) Regional Congress held in University of North Eastern Philippines last January 31 – Feb 3, 2019.

CBE maintained its rank as 1st Runner-up in the over-all Regional Academic Competition with Gera Aquino, Joshua Lascano and Romwalt Astraquillo winning 1st runner-up in Quiz Bee; David John Mendoza winning 1st runner-up in Sales Pitch; Gera Aquino winning 1st runner-up in Business Correspondence; Emmanuel Boral, Lavenia Jintalan, Cyjae Castro, Jervis Sta. Ana and Ebenezer Fulleros winning 1st runner-up in Commercial Making; and Frederick Tenido, Mark Joseph Jebulan and Blessing Grace Cayetano winning 4th runner-up in Business Model Canvass.

Various skills, sports and non-academic awards were likewise bagged by CBE. Eric Doroja won 2nd runner-up in Bed Making; Angel Ann Abaña, Alvin Frando, Diofel Buban, Denise Bogador won 3rd runner-up in Buffet Setup; Archy Brioso won 3rd runner-up in Cocktail Making and Flair Battle; Gerlie Cipriano, Angel Ann Abaña and Lyka Marie Pampola won 4th runner-up in Culinary Competition; Alinea Caballe won 2nd runner-up in Chess; David John Mendoza won 3rd runner-up in 200m Sprint; Ebenezer Fulleros, Mairalyn Fulleros, Jerald Fulleros, Cyjae Castrp, Sam Nogales, John Mark Jaso and Romwalt Astraquillo won 1st runner-up in Battle of the Bands; and Frederick Tenido won 3rd runner-up in Mr. ABBS 2019.

The Lewis College sent a total of 50 delegates to compete in ABBS Regional Congress. They were accompanied by 4 CBE faculty-moderators which include the CBE Dean Maria Cristina B. Ditan, YBC Adviser Myrna D. Leoncito, Glicelda E. Perol and Abegail M. Arimbay.

The event was participated by 15 schools including The Lewis College which is the only member under Sorsogon Chapter.
