Nina Samantha Bolo wins 1st place in Copy Reading and Headline Writing – 2019 National Schools Press Conference

NSPC, according to the Department of Education is the “Olympics of campus journalism.” It is the highest competition for journalism for both private and public elementary and secondary schools in the country.

Nina Samantha F. Bolo, a grade 6 student, won 1st place in Copy Reading and Headline Writing during the National Schools Press Conference (NSPC) 2019 held at Lingayen, Pangasinan. Lea B. Fullente, a teacher in The Lewis College, was Nina’s coach for the competition.

The competition was held last January 28 to February 1, 2019. This year, around 5,000 campus journalists from different schools attended the said event.
