The College of Computer Studies in partnership with the Department of Information and Communications Technology held the annual Sorsogon-Wide computer programming competition, “The Lewis College Programming Challenge” last March 9, 2019 at The Lewis College Campus, Sorsogon City.
The event was sponsored by the Department of Education as well as the Commission on Higher Education.
This year, Team wildcatsCoder of CCDI Sorsogon won first place for Open Category – College. They solved 11/11 problems in 510 minutes. Team CCDI – Senior High ranked first in Open Category – Senior High School with 3/11 problems solved in 385 minutes. Team Bits Please ranked first in All TLC Category – College. The team solved 11/11 problems in 509 minutes. Lastly, Team LinuxNog of All TLC Category – Senior High School won first place as they solved 7/11 problems in 419 minutes.
TLCPC provides students with opportunities to interact with students from other schools, and to sharpen and demonstrate their teamwork, problem-solving and programming skills.
